David Lang is managing partner of DAL Consulting Group, which connects domestic and international agriculture clients with sustainable organic fertilizer solutions, facilitates alternative and renewable energy projects in the United States and Southeast Asia, connects high-quality nutraceutical producers with new markets in Southeast Asia and advises nonprofit boards of directors on governance and strategy.
Previously, he was executive director of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, a collaboration of 26 cultural institutions in San Diego.  Earlier, Lang was director of government affairs for Houston-based KSA Industries, parent company for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.  Before that he was vice president for development for the Sigma Chi Fraternity Foundation in Evanston, Illinois.
Active in San Diego community affairs, David is a mentor for San Diego Social Venture Partners, a member of the Corporate Directors Forum and the ManKind Project.  He serves as vice chair of the Bastyr University Board of Trustees in Seattle, Washington, serves on the USA Triathlon Foundation Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Scouting Alumni Association National Committee.  Outdoors, this Eagle Scout is an avid triathlete, snow skiing enthusiast, and recreational tennis player.
David is past president of the San Diego Uptown Rotary Club, and considers our friendly and dedicated members, compelling service projects and fun events highpoints of the club.
